To give our traders an even bigger reach, we will also be launching an online store to showcase promote and sell our traders products on non-market days.
MARKETING:
At The Treasury Market we handpick our traders, and so we have their best interests at heart, since their success at the market is our success. We will be featuring traders on our blog, website and facebook page every week and assisting them in every way we can to market their products to the right customers.
The Treasury Market is working in a close partnership with the popular and well established Stellenbosch Fresh Goods Market (SFGM) to give maximum exposure for the launch of The Treasury Market and reach the maximum amount of potential customers. We will be leveraging their social media network (over 1300 likes on facebook; over 3000 visits to their facebook page per week; a newsletter circulation of over 12000 people) and well established relationships with traditional media. They also host regular events and competitions. Recent media coverage for SFGM includes being featured on CNN's 'Must see places in Cape Town and Surrounds' (August 2011); Espresso TV 1 ( see clip on facebook) ; Kook en Vertel met Nico Nel (Kyk Net; June 2011) and an article in the latest edition of 'Eat In' magazine.
LAUNCH:
The Treasury Market launch will be on the 2nd (nightmarket) and 3rd of December 2011 and we plan to make a big splash in design circles. We will be inviting all the most influential bloggers and media personalities in the design and décor field. To keep it fresh, going forward we will be having some great themes at the market and will be collaborating with leading South African designers and décor stores for exhibits.
